This week I'm diving into the sequel to THE NEVER LIST and I'm so excited! I've been meticulously plotting for weeks and I can't wait to jump into this world again! For my first week of working on a new project, I always do my best to keep my goals small and attainable (really I'd love to say my goal is four chapters a day, but that's so not realistic for me right now! LOL Sometimes I wish I was a vampire so I never had to sleep) For this week, I'm shooting for five chapters total. One a day would be ideal. As I get deeper into the project, things usually speed up! On a personal front, I'm also making a goal of walking an extra mile every time I walk with my Irish Wolfhound, Locksley.

Why, why choose?

I've gotten this question a lot lately. I've written both monogamous relationships and why choose relationships and I love them both for different reasons. I'm simply fascinated by the complex relationship dynamics that occur with having multiple love interests for the main character. There are so many romantic arcs to keep track of and manage, so many intense emotions that grow and change and break in these characters when placed in the why choose scenario, and so many other facets that challenge me as an author and I'm in love with the whole process. Also, it may be a call back to my original love for Will Turner AND Jack Sparrow in Pirates of the Caribbean. My initial reaction was "Why can't Elizabeth Swan have both?" LOL so I may be carrying that energy into my why choose romantasy stories too.

Why, why choose?
